Isabelle Shu was born and raised in England where encouraged by her architect father and graphic designer mother, she developed a passion for drawing. From the age of five Izzy knew that she would be involved in the arts.
Isabelle attended boarding school and quickly fell in love with design. Driven by her fascination, her skills flourished until at the tender age of 16 she was awarded an academic scholarship for design & technology. She was also a National Arkwright Scholarship recipient and a finalist in the Audi Young Designer competition. Ms. Shu's career in production design was inspired by the work of H.R. Giger's work in Alien.
Isabelle has a degree in Theatre and Film Design from the University of Southern California. Since arriving in Los Angeles, she has met many wonderful people and has discovered many opportunities. Ms. Shu has been the production designer on a variety of music videos, shorts, and feature films, and looks forward to a future of pleasant surprises.
Isabelle currently resides in Los Angeles and works as a Production Designer at Delta H Design Inc.
